    PARENTS DAY

This will be a time to see how your baalako are doing in Gujarati Class, what your baalako have learnt this year and how your baalako have developed. It is essential that you attend so we can hear your feedback and strive to provide the highest quality of activities for our baalako. More information on timings will be given out closer to the date.

ABSENCE, EARLY LEAVING AND LATE ARRIVALS PROCEDURE

PLEASE ENSURE IF YOUR BAALAK IS ARRIVING LATE OR LEAVING EARLY THEY SIGN IN AND OUT OF THE CHOKI DESK!

For absences we will from now on be using a new Absence Form. If your baalak was absent or will be absent in the future please fill in the following online form. It is extremely quick and easy to use and means you will not have to give us a letter at Kendra.

Kendra Update: Sunday 18th February 2018

    GUJARATI

This week's Gujarati homework can be found on this link

    CORE KENDRA WEEKLY UPDATE

This week we had a great start to the half term with a lot of energy from baalako in all the sessions. Everyone filled their stomachs in kendra breakfast where the baalako had a chance to catch up with their friends over food and milkshake. Samuh Ramat was a very upbeat session despite the cold weather and the energy from this was carried into prarthna. The baalako had the opportunity to explore this week's theme of Economics and Poverty, through our very special trade games. Overall, this week was a fantastic week with lots of energy and smiles from the baalako!

    BAAL MANDIR WEEKLY UPDATE

This week, the baalako started the day with vyayam and dhwaj. This was followed by a fiery hukamo competition to test the baalako’s memory. As part of Baal Mandir’s integration to main Kendra, we joined the prarthna where the baalako were sung bhajans and dhoons such as Chale Hanuman and Ganpati Baba Moriya. In our games session, the baalako learnt a variation to all-time favourite - chupi langri! To the end off the day, we were preparing for our baalsabha item (details are a surprise!). Parents are reminded to bring a spare T-shirt, next week, for their baalako to design their costumes!
